Favorite Recipe
I was just browsing around the site at the recipes listed and I was wondering... What are some of your(anyone) favorite LA recipes. Either one you made up yourself or from the site or from the cookbooks? Just curious and always looking for xomething different. For me my favoite is either stuffed peppers or stuffed zuchinnii. I also like to put low sodium sauce on my veges, cauliflower or zuchinni. Then I put either an ounce or half ounce of lf mozzerella cheese on top and melt it. Sometimes I brown some ground beef and throw that in with it. Thought it would be interesting to find out anyone else's fav recipe.:hungry:

how do you count soups on the plan? I am on the gold plan. Does pasta in soup count for a starch??
|
i make a spicy veggie lentil soup. lots of veggies, protein and fiber!
|
I usually do not put the pasta in, so I don't have to use a starch.....here is what Pearl said:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well, you need two cups so go for as close to 16 oz as you can get. I'd put this at 1P, 2V, 1S - I agree with Cassi on that! __________________ This is my year! 2008, the year of LOST WEIGHT! Hugs and blessings, Pearl |
I didn't read the posts further down that would have answered my question for me :) Thanks for the link. I made the vege soup that in Deb's cook book today and it was fabulous. I guess i was just in the mood for soup today.
