Donna....are you on thyroid meds? Some people swear by the Armor but I don't know anyone personally who takes the meds. I am down another 2.2 this week.

Hi Donna

Kim -you are on fire! Keep up the good work!

I'm holding my own - gradually starting to get back into the swing of things... baby steps, which are better than none!

Hey gals!! No, I'm not on thyroid medication. I just know that fixing any medical problem feels better. I am on medication for peripheral neuropathy though and I think it's keeping me from losing weight as well as I could months ago as weight gain is a side effect. Heck, it's always a trade off!!

Congrats Kim on your 2.2 loss!! Wish I could say that, I'm still hanging in there at my 5 lb. loss from last month. Cindy, good for you working your way back into the swing of things! Good feeling!

I have several outings next week where I'll be eating out. Whew..this is not going to be easy!!

Let's stay strong!!

Down 1.4 pounds this week. I guess not enough water yesterday and the chinese food for lunch didn't help. Need to increase good for me calories and get the exercise on.

Kim, you are doing great!!! Congrats on the weightloss!!

Good news on the insulin and I hope the thyroid med works well for you!

I went off my neuropathy medication and I was right, I started losing weight again. Had an idea that medication was causing my no weightloss! Maybe when I reach my goal, I can go back on, but that's going to be awhile.

Stay strong!

Default You on a Diet

Hi,

I love the You on a Diet and have been on it since last September. I have gone from 287 to 186 the past week's weigh in (RT). But does anyone find that calories given in the receipes in book different from the website and way off from what they should be. An example the book says the blackbeen soup should be 390 calories for 1 1/4 cup serving but when I worked out the calories of the ingredients it only came out the 145 calories for 1 1/4 cup serving. Is anyone else encountering this?
