Question Sodium?

Hello,
Does anyone watch their sodium as a way to lose weight? Right now, I'm eating at the USDA recommended level (2300 mg or less) and it's been going well so far. In watching my sodium, I normally end up hovering around 2,000 mg. I'd love to know if anyone does so we can support each other!

I certainly pay attention to my sodium. I know that when it gets too high I won't see any movement on the scale. I don't limit it, but generally it's not a problem for me, either.

I don't track it, but I definitely try and watch it through eating whole foods vs. processed.

Hello, If I eat too many mg of sodium I don't lose! If I eat something high in sodium my finger's swell so bad I can't get my rings off. So I definetly watch my sodium. I try to keep it around 1200mg which is a low sodium diet. If I go over by a little I'm not too worried but if I eat 2000mg I'm gonna swell. HTH. Hugs, Chrissy

No; it's never been an issue for me or affected my weight loss.

Thanks for all of your replies! I started tracking it more than anything else because I know the scale doesn't move if I have too much of it, too. Since starting this, I've gotten to take a link off of my watch and wear a ring I hadn't been able to for years.
