In a .5 liter bottle there is only 2 (8oz) glasses. You should drink 8 glasses or more.

My workplace stocks bottled water for employees. I don't like it chilled from the fridge, so I generally put four .5 liter bottles on my desk at the beginning of every workday and make it my goal to drink two by lunch and two after lunch (getting in my recommended baseline of 8 glasses of water). When I get home I'll have 2-3 more glasses of water.

I have noticed better scale results after days when I drank more water. Or at least I *think* that's what happens.
