Anyone else doing the 4-Day diet??

My MIL bought me the book for mother’s day and I’m on day one today. Is there anyone else doing this? Is there anyone else on phase 1 of the FS or EFS? I need some company…

I just redid Phase 1 on FS...so you just missed me. But I've done it twice now, so just remember it's possible! And day one is by far the hardest day. You'll get into a habit and it'll be easier. Just make sure you make an effort to mix it up and season your food. It sounds crazy that I emphasize that so much, but if you like the food you're eating you're more likely to stick with it.

Good luck! You can do it! :)

Edit: Also check out the recipes forum...it helps!

I'm on Phase One Day 1 of Fat Smashers, so I'm right there with you.

After today should be fine, but it's not too bad yet.

Good luck!

I'm trying really hard not to panic with this. It just doesn't seem like I'm allowed a lot of food today. I'm not gonna cheat though-I'm going to follow this to the letter. Tomorrow's menu looks much better!

I survived the early afternoon on carrots.

Dinner is black beans with onion, green peppers, tomatoes, and garlic over brown rice. I'll probably have some fruit too.

I'm trying to figure out which one works better for phase 1 weight loss, the 4 day diet or the fat smash... you all have any opinions?

I have done the FS and now I’m on day two of the 4-day diet and I can say that I like the 4-day diet MUCH better! I love the variety of the foods and the fact that he allows snack so much earlier has me more determined to stick to the plan without any cheats. I don’t think I’ll be wasting any food because most of the stuff you are able to eat everyday. I peek ahead a few days to make sure I’ll have what I need on hand and if it’s something that is only gonna be eaten a few days then I don’t buy as much. I’m thinking I will do much better on the 4-day than I did on the regular FS plan. He requires like double the exercise so make sure to keep that in mind.

Is there a list of acceptable foods or just menus?

Kass this one is totally different than the regular FS. He breaks it up into modules and they only last 4 days at a time. It's so cool because he gives you mini lists for what you can eat each day it the stuff changes so you gotta really pay attention or you might eat too much or not enough of something. You are able to eat meat and add snacks back even more quickly than FS but, like I said, he switches things up so you're not eating the same things all the time.
He definately increases your exercise duration too. You totally have GOT to get this book. I tried to text you a pic last night. I know how well we have been doing with FS but the 4-day diet is even more cool! and guess what he calls the first Module??
Induction! :dizzy:I'm cracking up!

LOL. I got the text last night. I will look for the book. I am juiced to read it!

I am considering it, but have to finish reading the book first. Got it from the library yesterday.

I wanted to do the original Fat Smash, but they only had the Four Day and the EFS available. I thought the nine days of vegetarian eating would work well for me, since my husband is a vegetarian anyway and he will be delighted to have me cooking stuff like tofu and beans.
