Prevention Flat Belly Diet?
OK is that a marketing ploy or what, doesn't everybody want a flat belly? And can I keep my hands off of diet books?
Couldn't resist getting a copy at my library despite thinking that "diet book diets" don't really work. Natch it's very intriguing with tons of success stories etc etc. Has anybody tried it? I like most of the food on it and of course being Prevention it's super healthy though some of the portions (1/8 cup of pasta?) sound pretty tiny. I was all set to try the four day start up until I saw: NO COFFEE!! NOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! WHY??? I am one of those people that is not very nice without coffee. I don't know if my marriage would survive four coffee free mornings, LOL! Anyway out of curiosity -- anybody tried it?? |
There's a couple of threads in the General Diet Plans Forum.

I love my lattes and went on the plan March 1st. I thought it would be hard but when I got up I focused on getting breakfast in me ASAP and then I packed the food for the rest of my day. It was much easier than I expected, the weirdest part of not having 2 expresso shots in the morning was the fact that I got to take a quicker route to work because I wasn't going to the coffee shop.
I fit my first latte into the plan yesterday and was surprised that it didn't taste as good as I remembered! I will be making room for a latte, probably in my second meal of the day. Meal 2 will look like this: nuts or seeds, apple, cheese, and a small skim latte. |
