ah, Amy, it is always good to broaden your horizons......you are entitled to believe what you wish, but it is important to beable to view the world from more than one standpoint. If you try to keep in mind that noone has the power to change your mind except you, you will probabbly get less irritated. Hang in there girl

I'm here! Scale has been up, so yes, I am feeling a little discouraged. I know I went off plan this weekend, but I got a TON of exercise and really didn't think I did that bad! But so be it, I'm going to work hard this week to get back to 259 and beyond! Don't worry Nicole-I'm not out of this!

Amy-sorry to hear about the soup! Congrats on the loss. That is a nice one! I'm ready to see a big loss!

Sorry to run but I've got to get to work! Have a happy Thursday all!

Hi everyone- I hardly ever post anything on here, but I just had to share my excitement... I was just notified that I was chosen to be in a nationwide LA Weight Loss tv commercial!! I'm pumped! I auditioned a couple weeks ago to be in it, and I am so surprised I got picked. I get to go to Boca Raton, Florida on March 4th-7th to shoot the commercial! eeeek! =)

Oh, Julie, I am sorry, I forgot to answer you the other day.........it is Fluffy. We debated between Fluffy, Princess Buttercup, and Elliot. Fluffy won in the vote. I was torn between Buttercup and Elliot, but I was outnumbered.

so it looks like Elliott is free for me to use for the baby's name now!

ha. we'll see. we're still really undecided and may just stick with our original pick. only 70 more days (hopefully a few less) until the big day.

Hey guys!

Erica- that's awesome. Kind of funny that they're spending $$ on advertising when how many branches have been closed??

Well, off to relax before running to rehearsal tonight!

Jillian, Naming is hard. Whatever you do at when your DD is 13, you may be accused of "ruining my life" by your choice. I do know that I was one such "life ruiner" for the moniker Beth, but I had an out... Her legal name was Elizabeth, and she picked her own nick name from a long list of possibles from that name... and she tried on a couple before settled on what she preferred to be called... I had picked that name for that exact purpose, and after my best friend in high school, who also rejected the parental choice of Betty Jo, and settled on Liz. I was stuck with Barbie myself... a name that I had a period of time trying to distance myself from, but my family still calls me. I'm OK with it now, but there was a time when I definitely did not want to be a Barbie..... I still do like Xanthia Rose though... I suppose they could always be Thia or Rose if they got all crazy about Xanthia later in life.

good points barbara. i remember wanting to change my name to Rose (my middle name) when i was younger because i hated my first name. sad, i know. it's such a great name and i got over it quickly, but i'm sure it was **** on my parents. they don't like it when people call me Jill either (my brothers call me that)..not sure what nicknames can be made with Xanthia. i'm sure something will be thought up and i'll hate it i'm sure!
oh well. i think we will most likely stick with Xanthia, as i can see Elliott becoming popular with little girls. plus the nickname Ellie is just as popular and i'm not sure how fond i am of it. it'd be almost a sure thing that there wouldn't be another Xanthia in her school. and i'm sure i can see her hating me for naming her that since it's so unique. and then later on she'll thank me for it. funny how kids are, isn't it! ha.
thanks for the advice though.
