I'm new to 3FC but have been reading you guys for a few months. I got a sensewear unit in November. It definitely makes me accountable to the activity & nutrition - Here are my stats for 1.5 a week:
Eat 1800
burn 2550
Steps 10000
Activity 45 min/day (Strength train 2x/week, cardio 1 hr 5-6 days/week)
Sleep burn rate 1.4 cal/min - deep sleep goes down to 1 cal/min!
I know sometimes my body 'rebels' against me because of the strenuous workouts and I'll not lose anything for a few days. So, I think it's good to rest a day a week. The true metric for this device & bodybugg is your own body!
Take care, Liz

I love that every persons program is so individual to meet there needs to meet their own personal goal.

I believe it's the Body measurements tab (tan colored) on the left to update your measurements/weight. I can't check for sure, because it tells me it's too soon to update mine when I click on it.

Hi all,

I wanted to thank you all for your responses to my questions. I can actually hit the steps and calories burned, but I have to "try". By that I mean get some form of exercise in that day, mostly walking. That was really my question, should I wig out about not hitting it every day? Honestly I have not had a day when the deficit was smaller than 1000 calories, and more often it is around 1400, so I should probably just keep doing what I am doing and know my body will drop some weight.

Later
Angie

I would definitely not wig out about it. If you look at your calorie balance report over a period of time, and you see an average deficit and you are losing, then you are doing great. If not, you might need to tweak some things.

Personally, I exercise every day that I can. Some weeks that means 7 days, and some weeks 4 days. If I have an appointment or a sick kid and I can't do it, then that's life. But if I can do it, I do.

Wardhog, can I just say in a "I am not coming on to you" kind of way that you are stunning? And I am a happily married woman, so really not coming on to you. LOL

I just received mine (SenseWear)! I am so excited to get started, but I am sure to be back with many questions for all of you.

I just received mine, too! It's smaller than I thought it would be. For starters, I'm looking forward to my upper arm getting smaller as I lose weight, yikes!

My first full day with it tomorrow will be snowboarding... I wonder how it will do under a parka? And I bet the pedometer will be all wacky... all that sliding and falling down. We'll see!

I have mine, my goal is to lose two pounds a week.

Burn: 3050
Consume: 2050
Activity: 30/min day

I'm going to blog about my progress with it at http://bodyblogg.com

I'm really glad it came before school goes back in. I go back on Monday so I won't really have a regular routine until then.

So how are the other new buggers liking it so far?

Still happy with mine. Friday will be my second weigh in. The only complaint I have right now is with the Mac compatibility. The bugg keeps forgetting I've already installed the software about once a day or so. I think I'm going to have to call their tech support.

Can anyone tell me how long it took for their BodyBugg to arrive? I ordered one on Monday morning and have yet to get a shipment notice.

I am curious to know if any of you are having similar issues. For some reason I cannot set my sensewear profile goal to 2 lb/week loss. Mine would not go over 1.75 lb/week. Although I swear when I initially got it last year I was able to. But I am not sure. For the moment it's set to 1 lb/week as I am being realistic. I would love to lose 2 lbs every week but I know it's not going to happen. For whatever reason it doesn't happen with me consistently.
Do you guys have similar issues?

Did you order it from 24 hour fitness? I ordered mine on Saturday and it came yesterday. I never received a shipment notice and under my account it always said pending. You will probably get it in the next couple of days.
