Also be sure that you know there is a servings size difference between colored and numbered plans. For example on some colored plans a serving of protien could be 6 or 8 oz where as a serving on numbered could be 3 or 4 oz. Also those are cooked wts where as colored was raw I believe. I could be a bit off but be sure you have the serving sizes down also Good Luck
Thanks Rhudson, i do have more questions.... is there any protein bars or shakes on this plan? and rite now my serving size is 4oz of chicken ( thats the main thing i eat) and most veggies ar 1 cup raw and 1/2 cup cooked...baby carrots 6 (raw) does plan 2 differ that much from plan 3 in serving sizes???
thanks
When you go to the center, they place you on a plan based on your height/weight. The plan they put you on includes two LA Lites daily. However, if you choose not to use the lites, they put you on a higher plan. At my height and weight, I am on plan 3 if I don't use the bars and plan 2 if I do use the bars. I am not aware of differences between portion sizes of chicken (or anything else) when comparing plan 2 and 3, but it's possible the center never told me and there are differences.
The differences in serving sizes were between colored and numbered plans. I believe (someone correct me if I'm wrong!) The serving sizes are the same on plans 1 through 6, it was servings on plan red, purple, blue, gold (the "old" plans) that differ from the numbered ones. So 4oz of chicken would be a serving size for any of the numbered plans...well white meat anyway
the serving sizes between numbered plans are the same. Im on 4, Dh on 6 and we measure the same way, just different amounts of food (ex: 3.5 proteins vs 4.5)
I am on plan 2 with 2 lites per day! But now that centres are closed, i can't get lites anymore...
I understand that if no lites, i need plan 3? Is that right? If so, can anyone give me the selections for plan 3?
There's a lot of other bars you can use in place of the LA lites. Any protein bar with at least 10 grams of protein and under 170 calores works fine, IMO, the ones with less sugar work the best. I had clients that had great results with the SBD high protein cereal bars.
