Great question, I've often wondered that! I'm really curious what the answer to that is!
My first thought is, will you know how much water to drink to compensate for a large salt intake? Then again, do we ever really know. My second thought is to watch how much salt you are taking in, because while some salt is necessary for your health and body functioning, too much salt can be unhealthy (especially over the long-run).
