Exercise vs Plan - HELP

  • I really need some help.

I am presently doing Purple with lites, according to my center (before they shut down) I am supposed to go to Gold with Lites when I get to 190.

I am exercising ALOT more than I was when my center was open and now I seem to be stalling out on my weight loss. I had a little bit of bad time where I was not eating POP, but I was not too far off plan to be considered totally off plan. But I am eating POP (with the occasional day where I am short a veggie, but good everywhere else) and journaling to make sure i am on track, be my weight loss seems to still be a little stalled.

I am concerned that I may not be eating enough. I tried giving myself an extra Fruit and and extra 1/2 a protein when I do a heavy workout (more than 50 minutes in a day), but that doesn't seem to be helping either.

I need some advice. I am at a lose and concerned that my body is trying to hold on it's fat for a rainy day because I am not feeding it enough, but I am also concerned that if I am wrong then I will be eating too much and continue to gain.

I don't know if I should change plans or not and if so, then what do I change too.

    HELP! PLEASE!!
  • More than 5 hours of exercise a week gets you up onto Red w/ Lites. Yes, it's a whole lot of food.

Also, losing can be happening without the scale budging. The body can be wierd like that sometimes.
  • Megan - Thanks, I just can't imagine going back to red, but if things don't change I am going to try it.

I will take measurements tomorrow morning (I take them on the last friday of the month) and see that. I fell clothes wise that I am still making some progress, slow, but some.

    Thanks for helping out!
  • Kelly, When I was about to move to Gold I had started to exercise a great deal and they moved me to BLUE instead. I was stalled on purple, but lost well on BLUE. You get an extra half protein and a starch over what Gold is. The serving sizes for the protein drop down on BLUE as they do on Gold. but you get 1/2 more, so it is not drastically different. What you do get is an extra starch, so it is possible to eat some protein and a starch at every meal if you want.
