It explains how weighing daily in studies show those who did lost more weight than those who did not. I thought it was kind of interesting, since I weigh more than daily and keep myself in line via that route.
On the other hand, if you have some sort of emotional tie to the scale, your mental health might be more important to keep than whatever extra pounds you may lose by weighing daily... so it notes that in there too.
But hey, to those who weigh daily like me - woo! What an incentive!
