I think it depends on the person. Recently, my 26 year old stepson passed out and was taken to the ER. He only drank coffee and pepsi. This doctor told him that caffeine deydrates the body and he needed to add non caffienated beverages to his diet.

I use whatever is cheapest. Here in Canada, generic brand "crystal lite" can be had for 6 single servings for a dollar at Zehrs.

The other thing to remember with all of your water intake is to use your Morton's lite salt. You need the sodium/potassium balance so your electrolytes stay in balance!

I found this article. It is called The Link Between Water and Weight Loss. http://obesity.ygoy.com/link-between...d-weight-loss/

I think we all agree on this site that since other drinks have water in them you are getting water by drinking them. I think though that the problem is the other things in them and the problems they cause.

I don't like tea, coffee, diet sodas, etc. I love regular Coke, but that is no longer on my diet and I truely believe I am addicted to them, so they are forever out of my life. I only drink water. I was thinking about the flavor packets, but ... I may try them sometime and see.
