Food "exchanges" for lites

I am not asking what to substitute for Lites, as I already know that. However, I am doing a food only plan but would occasionally like to have a Luna or LA Lite as part of that plan.
So my question is-- what "exhanges" would you use for a Lite? (Protein? Fat? Starch?) I have no idea... any of you know?

Exchange for Lites

Hi,

I found on this site that for 2 lites daily exchange is 1/2P, 1V, 1F, 1S.

So you figure out how to calculate only 1 Lite.

I don't think there really is a good answer to that question. I do know that a starch should consist of anywhere from 30 to 60 calories and most of them should be in the form of carbohydrates. I would think you might beable to find some sort of low fat type bar that has less than 100 calories and count it as a fat and a starch.......or maybe if it is a higher calorie one, count it as 2S and 1 fat. I would be really careful though, cuz it seems like so many of them are filled with sugar. You want your starches to be nutrient packed, as in whole grains so your body can use the carbohydrates to it's advantage. I do hear what you are saying though.......sometimes you just want to grab something. It has been my experience that sticking to the very lite starches and/or those with a lot of fiber have been my best bet. I hope this helps some, cuz I often use too many words to get my point across :)

I typically did it as 1/2 a P and a Starch.

Yes, I went around doing it oddly, but when the nutritionals are similar to a lean pocket breakfast which the LA dietician said to count as a 1/2 P and a S.
