Alli and Antibiotics
 

I have bronchitis and a sinus infection and have been taking antibiotics since Wednesday 1/16, so I have about another week to go. I haven't been taking Alli since then. Now, I told the doctor that I was taking it, and he didn't have any concerns. But I was thinking...if Alli sucks out some of your needed Vitamins, will it take the efficacy away from the antibiotic? Anyone know? Any feedback appreciated. ;)

I wouldn't have thought so but unless you have to take your anitbiotic with food why not take it and hour or so before or after you eat. The only vitamins that alli will interfere with is those that are absorbed along with the fat we eat (I believe Vit D is the main one).

I believe that Vitamin K is another one that it interferes with as well...
