Default Replacements for LA Lites

I'm sure this has been asked - but the search function is not working for me tonight....what are some good replacements for LA Lites?

Anyone try replacements and end up going back to the LA Lites? The cost is one reason I don't like them - the other is that they are not that good (IMO) - but they are filling.

Thanks!

i have been using Luna bars this time around and i love them so much more than the lites. they have less sugar and lots more healthy stuff in them than the lites. plus the flavors are so much better, i think. and they're cheaper. i buy mine from amazon.com and it's free shipping for orders over $25. so i usually get 3-4 boxes of 15 bars each time i order.
but the main reason i am using luna bars this time is they are alot healthier than the sugar filled lites.

I use either South Beach or the Zone pro bars. I've done the luna's but most of the time I want something with more chocolate to satisfy my swee tooth.

hey lynn--
i really like the berry almond or the toasted nut and cranberry. and for a chocolate fix, i like the peppermint stick or the caramel nut brownie. the dulce de leche is pretty good too.

I'm probably not doing it right, but I just went to Costco and compared the nutritional info to other sports bars. I found one called Bio-Protein that's about $14 for 16 bars. The ingredients are about double, so I cut them in half and used them accordingly. I don't know if there's some "magical" ingredient in the La Lites or not, but that's what i do. The box comes with double chocotate, peanut butter and cookies n' cream. CAUTION...I may be giving bad info, I'm just stating what I do.

I use the South Beach cereal bars.. They come in peanut butter, chocolate and cinnimon raisin.. THey have fewer calories than the lites and more protein.. And they're very tasty!

I like the Lunas too, but I also like the Special K meal replacement bars. They are around the same calories, fat, fiber and protein and come in choc. peanut, double choc. and strawberry and are good for something different.

Jason.......I think halving your bars is just fine. As long as the cals/fat/protein/carbs, etc jive with lites, you should be fine
