Default Center Closings

I just joined LAWL last week. I keep reading about all these people who were basically abandonded because their center closed.

Should I be concerned about my center closing? That would be awful!!!

I don't think our center (Merle Hay) is closing since they are LAWL.

I am so confused about this. If you go on the LAWL website it doesn't even have an american option (at least I don't think it does...now I am going to have to go back and look). I wish there was a center open near me

My center was a LAWL and their letterhead said franchise but they closed at the end of the year. I think they may have been bought by corporate during the summer. Corporate was actively buying back franchises so they could continue calling themselves the fastest growing weight-loss program. Plus, the owner must have been a moron. He really screwed a good thing!
The plan is good but the heavy reliance on over bearing sales tactics has soiled everything.
