Hey Lynn, just checked the advantage bars and they are 240 calories, more than the SB, Lunas or Lites. Do you use 1/2 bar? I love the 10g fiber and low sugar though.
Thanks
Roberta
The Advantage bars that I bought are the Carmel Fudge bars and they are 160 calories, 8 g of fat, but 9 g of fiber and 12 g of protein. They are really quite sweet even though it says just 1 g of sugar.

Hi all, I got these awhile back when someone posted about them. I am using 1/2 scoop coffee flavor and 1/2 scoop either chocolate or vanilla and mixing with hot water. I drink it in the morning on my drive to work. I don't drink regular coffee; this is more along the lines of an international foods instant flavored coffee treat.

Couldn't find the Caramel Fudge ones, went to three stores. Should have asked you where you found them.

Also, I found SB High Protein Cereal Bars at Costco: 24 bars for $11.64, that is about 50 cents a bar.

Hi Roberta,
I got the Advantage Carmel Fudge bars at Walmart. It was a box of 5
of them for $5.96. The SB meal bars look to be within the guidelines of what we are looking for.
How much does the membership at Costco cost a year? They are buiding one
near here.

I should have remembered that you had said you never did a TO, sorry about that.
No Wallyworld near here, closest one is about 1 hour away, but I might try Target the next time I go that way.
Costco membership is $50/year. Between there and Trader Joe's I never go anywhere else for groceries. I live in a small apartment and bought a chest freezer for my garage. I buy salmon (fresh) at costco and cut it into portions, freeze it. Buy their sirloin burgers in the freezer and their vegetables are wonderful. The savings on gasoline (usually about 10 cents/gallon cheaper) and other items I can buy in bulk totally saves me so much money it is worth it.
Will lelt you know what I think about the SB Meal bars when I taste them. I want to wait until the shakes get here so I can do one of each a day. Definitely trying your pina colada yogurt fruit thingie in my bullet.
I just had a scoop of the pina colada, 1/2 cup vanilla low fat yogurt, raspberries mixed in my bullet and it was very good.
I had this combo again today. Since I have not been adding water and am using the vanilla low fat yogurt and the frozen raspberries, it is like a sorbet. I am sure there are endless combinations to try. I don't even miss regular ice cream when
having this as a snack. Highly recommend it.

Hi Teresa,
I used a cup of frozen and I did not add any ice or water because I like it thick like a sorbet.
I am probably going to PM you. I found out some interesting tidbits about our Center today. Maybe it is old news, but I just heard today. Nothing to worry about though......

Put the SB Meal Bars in the fridge and they were amazing. I went back and got another box. They are relatively new, found them at Fred Meyers (western version of Krogers). Found the Atkins but not the caramel fudge, saw the peanut nouget. Think I will stick with the SB meal bars, and can't wait for my shakes to get here so I can try your yogurt pina colada raspberry smoothie.
Thanks again for the tip about the shakes, a great bargain.
I got my free sample pack last week and I only paid $4 shipping. 30 shakes for $4! Wow! (Do I sound like an infomercial or what?!) I used the pina colada first, and I'm on to the chocolate. Both very good and definitely worth the price. I'm looking forward to trying all the flavors I received.
Ok, am I the only one who felt a little funky after making one? I made Lynn's recipe but with mixed berries and it did NOT settle well with me. I am afraid to make another one. I didn't have anything else besides that in my stomach though, so maybe that's what did it.
