Well Ladies/gents! I am back from Vegas.
We had a GREAT trip. I actually did a pretty good job with my eating while I was there. I havnt weighed yet, that will happen on Monday. But I thought I should at least pop in and say Hi and that I am back.

Welcome to the new thread. Looks like the old one was going well, lets keep up the great support here and lose some serious FAT this month!!!

The soreness will go away but that takes time. You take care of yourself. Of course with the meds and the surgery you want to sleep, nap, rest. The body is healing itself. You take it easy. Won't be anytime at all and you will be kicking those leprechauns in the bum lol.

Thanks everyone for your prayers! HUGZ

Still welcome back! I'm so ready to lose some serious fat! I've not stepped on the scale in awhile. I'm not looking forward to that. I may just skip the whole scale thing this month and not weight myself til the New Year. Actully that sounds pretty good to me. I think I will try and do just that.

Got to - Glad to hear the surgery went well. Sending many happy healing thought yours way!

Shy - Love the cartoon! Thanks for the morning laugh.

As for me my husband picked up my Beck Diet book a few days ago. I've yet to open it up. I do plan on going over it this weekend. I did see a partial story on new last night about a weight loss study that not only used diet and exercise but also an agressive behavioral motivation I'm not sure what they ment by agressive since I missed the studies name. What I did catch was one of the person that was in the study and he said he'd been on many WL Plans and had lost weight but with this one he found that key to his not only losing but also KEEPING it off was the behavioral motivation. I know it's not news to link over eating with bad habits but to find the key to what make each of us over eat and be able to unlock that key and replace it with something be it another food item(healthy), music whatever is a great thing. OK hoping off the soap box. Thanks for reading my ramblings

Sue, I have been skipping my weigh ins also. I haven't been on plan, and I have no excuse for not being on it.

Shy, I agree about people not making their children listen. In my 30 years of teaching, things changed and not for the better, that's for sure. Do you know anyone who would buy your bottle of Alli? I just bought a new bottle, haven't even opened it yet. Maybe someone on here might be interested in buying it??

Julia, welcome to the group!! Can you order things online from Amazon.com? That's where I just bought my bottle of Alli. Might be worth a shot.

Mez, I feel so bad for you and your family. Having been through 2 miscarriages myself, I know how difficult this time is for all of you. I pray that all of you will get through the healing process quickly, but even that is hard to do especially during the holidays.

Still, sure wish I could have gone to Vegas with you!! Glad you had a good time. When hubby and I went away overnight this week, we went to a gambling boat in southern Indiana. He did great, and we won't talk about my video poker playing. lol We had a good time just getting away.

I've had a bug since yesterday. So far I haven't vomited today, so maybe I'm on the mend. I had planned to wrap presents yesterday, but I couldn't stay out of bed long enough to do anything. Today is probably going to be spent laying around again. I've been sitting up for about 20 minutes now, and I think I'm ready to go back to bed for a while.

I should get weighed! Maybe I have lost an ounce or two!!

you know, I love the slots (penney, nickel, quarters, dollars....any of them) and I did play quite a bit. But I decided that since I really wasnt hitting anything worth mentioning on them I would move to the Craps table....MAN o' MAN. That was FUN and a good idea. I did pretty good on the table and actually came out WAY ahead. So I ended up not spending much at all for my trip.

What a fun day. Had another 4 to 5 inches of snow. Went out to start to shovel the stuff and the man from next door came over and used the snow blower and did the whole drive for me.

I swear I am going to make my daughter live in a bubble. She was in a car accident tonight. Second one in 6 months. Now she has a cast on her foot a splint on her thumb and a totaled car that we aren't going to get enough out of to get another car.

Erica, my hubby did very well at the casino. I hit a few jackpots (not big ones), but mainly I just threw $$ away. I did have fun though, and hubby was in great spirits. He hasn't been that relaxed for a while since he's been sick. We went out for a nice dinner at one of the restaurants there.

Still, a friend of ours loves Craps! He wants me to go with him sometime so he can teach me how to do it.

Shy, where we live now, all of the snow removal, etc. is done for us. That was one of the main selling points here. With my health problems and my hubby getting older (I'm not getting older of course), we just felt it would be very handy especially with our son away at college. Now with hubby's health problems, there is no way he could be out doing things. That was so nice of your neighbor to help you out!!

Sue, I'm with you about not weighing until Jan. 1.

Shy, how awful about your daughter!!! Was anyone else hurt? The roads are nasty in spots. I'm waiting to hear from our son to make sure he's back at school after taking his girlfriend to her hometown this afternoon. He has to work at midnight. He called about 7:30 when he was leaving her house. I wasn't real happy that he waited that late to leave there since he has to work, but you know how young love is!

I sent you a pm not sure if it went thru or not. Doesn't show in my sent folder. Except for the cast on her foot and the splint on her thumb she is ok. There was nothing wrong with the roads. The darn jackass tryed to go from one drive on one side of the street to another drive across the street and there was my daughter in his way.

I am better now. Have all the chores done, the daughter in bed being treated like a princess even by her brother and my exercises done. Deep breath in and out. I am fine now lol.

I didn't get your private message. Must be lost in cyber space somewhere!
I'm glad your daughter isn't hurt worse than she is! People are nuts, aren't they?
