Tina, you are doing SO well! You are going to get very close. I still have another 10lbs, but like you, I was optimistic at 25lbs. The last three lbs took forever to come off, so I'm aiming for 5 more by labor day....
Still plugging along. Like most of you I think I was a little unrealistic on my goal setting but hey, if I can get at least halfway there. BNWI this am at home showed me down another 3 but I was going to wait until my official at the COD on Friday to post. Didn't have an official last week.
O.K., I'm switching my official WI to what my scale at home says. I can do a BNWI there and it gets me closer to goal. Changing my ticker to that also.
Tina you can still do it. Don't give up. Focus on the "high fiber" foods and the light meat. OMG I sound like a COD Counselor. LOL
LOL, Amy thats exactly what my COD just told me the other day. I have been on TO yesterday and today, due to a "plateau"! I feel like I may have lost some but I dont WI again til Friday and my scale here at home is broken... Aghhh, Nerves!!
You do sound like a counselor, Amy...actually better than most counselors, unfortunately I'm not giving up, though! I'm just not going to be disappointed in myself if I don't hit it. I'm still trying to "retrain" my mind into being happy with what I have achieved so far. Most times, or I should say in the past, I would step on the scale, be up 0.4 pounds and say "forget it...I'm a failure"! But not anymore
You are not a failure Tina. You are an INSPIRATION!!! and don't you forget it. If we don't make goal that is o.k. We set a goal aimed for it and got as far as we could. We will just add it to the (Whats next, Thanksgiving?) next goal!

My WI today at COD was 145.6. I can't believe it. I am so excited. I may make the LaborDay Challenge Goal yet.
Well I was dreading my WI this morning because of course it is that TOM and I thought for sure I would be up. Pleasantly surprised I was down .4 so that makes may weight 149.0, I didn't change my ticker yet because it wouldn't show any difference yet and that would just depress me. Have a great Thursday everyone!
I have 2 pounds to go so hopefully if I don't go up and go down I will make. Haven't figured out what I am eating to make it go up. I'll get sooner or later.
At my last WI (8/22) I was 5 pounds from Labor Day Goal. I have been doing to the No Scale Challenge since that date to help motiviate myself to be serious (no cheats) so I do'nt know how close I am to goal, but I think I will make it. My plan is to stay off the scale until Labor Day morning and then post the results.
