Default Take Off Vs. Fast Forward

Hello all,

I was curious about the difference between Take off and Fast Forward..or, if these are one in the same but just different terms. I do Fast Forward and here is the menu:

*Unlimited protein
*Unlimited raw, GREEN vegetables
*16 oz Fast Forward drink mixed w/ 16 oz water, sip throughout the day
*Water

*No other foods should be used during this phase: avoid eating bread, pasta, milk, starchy veggies such as potato, peas and corn and condiments (relish, ketchup). Feel free to use butter, margarine or oil in preparing your foods. Use oil and vinegar or light salad dressings on your salads.

This program should only be used for 2 days. Trust me, it does work. I've also seen a variation of this program which lets you use the Lites (2x per day).

So...what is Take off? Same thing? Thanks for sharing...Suzette

Oh, and BTW, for Fast Forward, if you don't want the juice, you can substitute either 1/8 slice of cantalope 4 x per day OR 4 oranges throughout the day...

Suzette - there is a great, detailed outline for FF and Takeoff on the sticky thread above. This entry is about half way through the thread and was written by Cassi (Bizlawchick). Here is the link:
http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/showthread.php?t=70537

Since I plan on doing a TO tomorrow, I needed to find this as well.

TAKE OFF PROGRAM INSTRUCTIONS (LIMITED)
I bought two bottles of Knudsens Breakfast Blend juice (1 for each day). You mix 26 oz of juice, 6 oz of water, and 8 tsp of Benefiber.

FOR THE DAY:
6 oz. of the same protein
2c. raw GREEN veggies or 1c. cooked
2 LA Lites
16 oz. TO Juice (You add 16 oz. water to it)
no more than 2 6 oz. cups of caffienated coffee

The paper suggests this:

Breakfast - 2 oz. protein; 6 oz. coffee
Mid-Morning - LL; 6oz. coffee
Lunch - 2 oz. protein; 1C. green veggie
Mid-Afternoon - LL
Dinner - 2 oz. protein; 1C. green veggie

Here's specifically what I did:
Breakfast - 2 oz. chicken; 2c. Decaf Blueberry Herbal Tea w/1 pkt. Splenda
Mid-Morning - LL
Lunch - 2 oz. chicken; 1 c. romaine w/Wishbone Salad Spritzer (15 sprays)
Mid-Afternoon - LL
Dinner - 2 oz. chicken; 1 c. broccoli; 1 c. No Sodium Chicken Broth (this helped me to feel full and had 10 calories)

I broiled 2 chicken breasts with McCormick No-Salt chicken seasoning on Monday morning, and then I cut them into 2 oz. portions. For dinner, I added the same seasoning to the veggies and stir fried in Pam over the stove, and then added the 2 oz. chicken after the veggies had cooked a little, so that it was all heated together. And I added a little bit of No Sodium Chicken Broth to the mixture for some moisture and flavor

Does anyone know if you can do the Fast Forward instead of the TO? I can't do the lites, so they told me I am ineligible for the TO. I thought I would do the FF on my own and not tell them at the COD. Also, second question - can I use Fiber Sure instead of the Benefiber? I have a huge container of the stuff.

Thanks to anyone who knows the answer.

I actually use Fiber Sure (since that's what I have on hand). If you don't do lites, then definitely do the FF menu.

Thanks, when I asked about it at the COD, they told me I could not do the 21 day boost or the FF or TO. They said the only time you can do the FF is the beginning of the program and that it would not work if you repeated it when you were aleady following the LAWL.

I am doing take off today and tomorrow I need something to help me push past this rutt I am in of losing and gaining the same 2 LBs for the last 3 weeks, hopefully this will do it.

I usually have a orange and some green veggies for breakfest and then

snack - orange and my slimfast bar

lunch, 3 oz - chicken and broccoli and green beans

snack - orange/slimfast bar

Supper - 3 oz chicken and 2 veggies

and if I feel hungry durning the day, I eat more green veggies since my Center stated that take off the veggies are now unlimited.

You know what, I am going to do the FF on Monday and Tuesday and just not say anything - see how it goes. The overwhelming support on this web site is awesome and I want to thank everyone for posting their 2 cents. it really makes a difference to me.
