Thanks for the idea about blending the TO juice with ice... that's great!

Hi everyone---sorry it took me a while to get back and read the posts.

Here is the plateau breaker. It is for five days. I could not remember until I found my copy. You follow your regular portions (except for the extra water for the first two days), so it is easy to follow.

*************************
No beef, pork, cottage cheese, salmon, scallops, wild game or restaurant eating. No potatoes, cereal, rice, oatmeal, ice cream, pasta, peas or tortillas. No fast food or frozen meals.

Low sodium tuna only.

Oil and vinegar, low fat or fat-free salad dressing only.

Incerase water to at least 80 oz for the first two days, then back to 64 oz minimum, as usual.

Choose mostly green leafy vegetables.

Choose mostly citrus and raspberries.
******************************************
My counselor said that if you stick to things like light bread and WASA crackers, you will do fine, starch-wise. You do continue to use your lites.

I have found that the Plateau Breaker has often resulted in better weight loss (and loss of water weight and puffiness) than the Fast Forward/Take Off.

Re: the TO juice smoothies---I found a smoothie attachment for my Oster blender---it was about $13.00 at Wal-mart. It is the size of a large cup. You put your liquids, frozen fruit or ice, etc. in it, put the blades and cap on top, and turn it upside down to place it on your blender. It even comes with a large straw so you can drink your shake or smoothie right out of the glass. Funny, I bought it because the cap on the bottom of my blender container broke, and I did not want to wait to order the black cap from the manufacturer! This has turned out to be my best LAWL-related purchase ever. It is great for the LAWL shake and smoothie mixes, as well as "regular" stuff for my family.

HI!! Aguerin, Got back a bit ago from my WI - and am now going to do the Take Off and the 5 day follow up (plateau breaker) Here's what my counselor listed for me for the 5-day:

Increase water intake to 10/12 glasses/day
Avoid condimints, fast food, and restaurant meals
Avoid the following proteins:
Cottage cheese
beef
salmon
tuna
pork
eggs and egg beaters
Avoid the following starches:
baked potato
rice
tortilla
cereal
oatmeal
english muffin
bagel
corn
peas
pasta
ice cream ----- which means you get: lite bread and crackers (one of my other couselors said 1/2 lite english muffin was okay too), according to the plan for portions.

Increase fiber by eating the following foods:
any type of berries
apples
cooked broccoli
cooked cabbage
cooked carrots
spinach
zucchini

otherwise - you follow your plan

Today is my first day with FF and I thought I would STARVE but the juice/water combo really worked. I sipped it all day at work and wasn't hungry like I usually am. Plus I could use the extra veggie intake (I never get enough). We'll see what happens. Today is only my first day so I don't have much input yet.

That's cool --- on the FF and still amongst us to tell about it!!! LOL So you think its that juice stuff that keeps you from being STARVED??? I start tomorrow.....and I'm REAL 'concerned' that I don't have enough will power to stick to it --- cause after the 2 days of FF (or TO), I do the 5-day follow up!!!!
