Default French Toast

Serving size: 1 Slice

Counts as:1/2 Protein,1 Starch,1 Fruit

· 1/4 cup (60ml) egg substitute
· 1 Tbsp (15ml) skim milk
· dash of sugar substitute
· dash of cinnamon
· dash of nutmeg
· 1 slice light bread
· 12 small strawberries, sliced
· nonfat cooking spray

1 Combine egg substitute, milk, spices and sugar substitute in a shallow bowl; mix well.

2 Add slice of light bread to egg mixture and let stand until egg mixture is absorbed.

3 Coat skillet with nonfat cooking spray and heat over medium heat. Place bread in skillet and brown both sides of light bread.

4 Place on serving dish; top with sliced strawberries.

Just had this for breakfast! Awesome recipe! I had never thought of making french toast! It almost felt like I was cheating!!!
