Default Back on the wagon

I joined LAWL in Nov. of 2004. I was 201 at that time. since then I have gone through 2 job losses of my husbands, thought we were going to move to another state, (even moved all our stuff and then the job fell through and we had to move all our things back.) Now my husband is starting his own business and things are tight. Also I had many ups and downs at my COD, about every 3-4 months they changed the whole staff, and which each new manager and staff they would promise bigger and brighter things. I would get the run around every time I went in. I would see one counsler and they would say, "What are you doing on red you should be on yellow." then I would go in and see someone else and they would say "what are you doing on yellow you should be on red plus" or what ever the colors would always change anyway I can't remember which ones they really put me on. I had signed up for something like 35 weeks plus the 6 weeks plus the 52 of maintanence and through all of this I have let those weeks become inactive, so I lost all that money plus I now weigh 223!

But I got a letter from LAWL last week that said they were having an open house and that weeks were on special for $4/week. so I went in today (all new staff. I didn't know a one of them!) and I paid to restart. Tomorrow I start TO. and will go from there. I told them this morning, THIS IS IT. IT HAS TO WORK THIS TIME. So that is my story. I hope to gain much strength and inspiration here and look forward to losing this weight once and for all!

Lettie

Thank you so much for the warm welcome. I really feel like I can do it this time. Today is day one of Take Off. Normally I eat Vegitarian at home. Sometimes I will eat meat when we go out, but there is no Vegitarian version of TO. In fact she told me Veggies are even supposed to do it. hmmm. anyway. I told her I would be ok for two days eating meat. but I really am not used to cooking it.So I will be glad when the two days are over.
I start my new job today. I have been a Stay at home mom for almost 17 years. and my youngest one is now in 1st grade plus we need the extra money. I will be delivering flowers for a florist. I will be in my own car driving around town............driving around fast food drive thrus........ so I am packing a cooler to keep myself out of trouble.

thanks again guys.
I KNOW I CAN DO THIS!

Welcome Lettie - I am a LAWL re-starter too, and this time it has been much better - all because of this site and the other LAWL-ers on it!

Lettie, my TO paper gives Veggie options like egg beaters, egg whites, etc. Does yours not show those options, or are you strictly vegan and don't even do egg beaters?

yes, it does. give the 2 eggs. but it doesn't seem fair that you can eat a whole cow if you want but can only have 2 eggs.

I am doing ok though. thank goodness it is only 2 days. I will be glad to get on my regular plan and start cruising.

It was funny I have not been to the COD for nearly a year. I restart yesterday, but I was not ready to tell my husband, I didn't want him to be like "oh great here we go again." I was going to wait until I had lost some and he noticed and then say, "yep, went back to LAWL" this morning I was talking with him and he says, totally out of the blue, "so what ever happend to LAWL, don't you ever go there anymore?"

I about died! I said, well as a matter of fact I restarted yesterday!
He was glad.

For TO, you can have 12 egg whites over the course of the day. For FF, it may only list whole eggs (the sheet is at home, so I don't know for sure.)
