my diet: too much fibre?

hey all.. so for the first time I calculated all of my food on fitday and I used an electronic scale at home to weigh my fruits, vegs, and everything else that one can weigh. My fibre came to a whooping 45 grams  and my protein to 66 grams, which doesn't seem like enough (isn't it 0.8-0.9 grams of protein per kg of body weight?). My total calories came to 1549 which is fine, I ate a little less today than I would normally. And my fat grams came to 39, which sounds fine I think.

I think I normally consume this much fibre :^: is that not good? I mean, is there such a thing as too much fibre? I don't have any GI upsets like diarrhea, frequent BMs, or an uncomfortable amount of gas. Sorry if that's too much info for some  It's not causing me any problems though so should I continue eating this way or should I aim to decrease my fibre intake?

I'm having a hard time balancing my fibre, protein, carb, fat, fruits, vegetables, grains, etc. intake. It's a juggle! :o

Sorry for the double post, I don't know how to delete it...

I might be wrong, but I think the recommended protein is measured per kilogram of IDEAL BODY WEIGHT, not actual body weight.

Lord knows I need more fiber... :o

My chewable fiber tablet bottle says you need 25 - 30 grams a day, and that most Americans don't even get half that.

20-25 grams of fiber is pretty much the recommended MINIMUM...so if you are naturally getting more than that without having to resort to fiber supplements, then you are doing fine.

That would be FABULOUS!!! I was trying to figure out how I could possibly eat up to 90 g of protein a day.

Aphil - nope, no supplements.
