Hello there! I've been on the Jorge Cruise (3 hour diet) lifestyle since August 2004. I've lost 63 pounds on it, and it works like a charm! You basically have to eat every 3 hours, and your main 3 meals contain 1 portion of carbs, 3 portions of protein, 1 portion of veggies/fruits and 1 portion of fat. The idea is to eat balanced meals. Eat 2 snacks per day and finish your day with a treat! Do this with Jorge's famous 8Minutes in the morning to work all muscle groups. By eating every 3 hours, you keep your metabolism running constantly, thus losing 2 pounds a week! And the one thing that has helped me the most is learning to deal with emotional eating the right way!

Default It isn't hard for me

I probably eat every 3 hours without thinking about it because I eat 6 mini meals per day. I don't find it hard. I just take all the things I'm gonna need for the day at work and it is already on hand. I get spoiled because at dinner I don't want to go make it because it isn't "on hand".

I pretty much do that all on my own. I have breakfast around 9:30, a snack around 11:30, lunch around 1:30, a snack again around 4:00-5:00, and dinner sometime around 7:30-8:00. Just take what you would eat in a day (I am doing WW) and spread it around throughout the day. It keeps me from getting overly hungry.

I've been on the 3 hour diet for 4 weeks and i've lost 9lbs so far. This plan is good because.. it does cause me to over eat. I plan out my meals the night before and made sure i ate every 3 hour. Before i would just eat whenever i "think" i'm hungry.

Lots of us eat every few hours. I feel it stops me from ever getting horrifyingly hungry. It'd be interesting to see what they want you to eat, but the theory of eating really good food in small bits nore often ... is good and is advocated by some of the maintainers here.

Some say you've done it..but it's not eating every 2 hours..it's 3 hours and it works....I have lost 22 lbs on it so far. The trick is every 3 hours..not 2 hours.

The main idea is that you eat within an hour of getting out of bed, every 3 hours after that and stop within 3 hours of going to bed at night.

Your breakfast, lunch and dinner are going to be around 400 calories with 3 oz of protein (1/4 of your plate), about 1/2 cup of carbs (1/4 of your plate), and about 1/2 of your plate filled with veggies (or a serving of fruit in the morning).

You will eat 2 snacks daily and the calories of your snacks will be based on your current weight. Right now, at 248 lbs, my snacks are 200 calories each. My snacks can be whatever I want as long as they are 200 calories each. I eat things like popcorn, nuts, extra fruit, string cheese, and frequently chocolate.

After dinner, you can have a 50 calorie treat if you want as well.

Yes, this is the diet Al Roker on the Today Show is doing. Jorge Cruise weighs him in once a week on the show on Tuesdays usually. The first 2 weeks, he lost 10 lbs.
