Greetings
Wanted to briefly introduce myself to everyone here.
I am 47 years old, female, measuring 5'6" tall, and weighing in at 144. My body fat is currently at about 21%.
Five years ago I was a fitness competitor weighing 123 pounds with a body fat count of 11% when I suffered a damaged disc in my neck. I stopped training all together and after two years of physical therapy, decided to undergo surgery. In the past five years, I've gained twenty pounds and last spring took the first step in rectifying the situation.
I've researched every diet known to man, and a few not yet known to man, and have decided to simply count calories and go back to training as I used to.
I expect the excess fat will come off by early to mid April and am doing this by consuming 1200 to 1300 calories a day and training four to five times a week.
I run, bike, and lift weights. I am single with four grown children and I work a full-time job (nights).
My only other challenge at this time will be to stop smoking. I smoked as a teenager, quit for many years, and started again after my injury.
I look forward to everything this forum has to offer and to an up-and-coming Size 4 physique!
Cheers!
