Talking Just getting started

Hi! I am just starting out here on this weight loss trail. I am going to probably be checking in quite a bit because I am in a new place, 1000 miles away from my home; new job, sweet little boy, husband who loves to eat. I am looking forward to this. I have already started walking. Since it is a small town, I am walking everywhere I can. My son enjoys the trip and it seems to already be helping my blood pressure and heart rate. I have been overweight for a while. First, it was the retail grind, and then traveling and sitting in depositions all day and now, the baby weight. Hopefully, I can get on a roll here and start losing. Keep your fingers crossed!

I'm just starting out with my diet/exercise plan too. Been trying to lose weight for the last 3 years and it never seems to get off the ground, so I've put on every year instead! Really suffering from lack of motivation so I'm going to need a boost every now and then. But I'm determined that I'm not going to let myself live like this anymore, so I'm going to be as focussed as I can and hit the gym!

Can't wait to get started

Hey, I am glad to see someone out there that is wanting to lose about the same as I am. I organized a closet this morning. It's not much, but I wasn't on my rear and I got something accomplished. I don't like to organize closets very much. Did you work out today? How'd you do? Hang in there. You'll be in that bikini in no time at all. By the way, have you already picked one out to wear? I have an outfit I would love to wear and it is hanging in my bedroom on my closet door. It's a good motivator.
