I'm a newbie, you're a newbie...

  • Wouldn'tcha like to be a newbie, too?

Hey, everyone. I'm Janet. I'm 41 and entering perimenopause (yay). I've been married for 8 years and have 2 boys - Donald is almost 6 (in September he'll be 6) and Tyler turned 1 on St. Patty's day. I'm also hypothyroid and have an awful time trying to lose any weight. The weight that my ticker shows that I lost is deceiving - I weighed 203 when I got pregnant with Tyler. After giving birth, I weighed pretty much what I weigh now. I've fluctuated between 180 and 186 for a year now. I've followed a nutritionist's advice, exercised 5 x's a week - and still NOTHING. I need some help - encouragement, at least. It's frustrating to be doing all this and NOT see results.

Other than that, I'm a crazy person.... much younger than my age says I should be. LOL! Anyway... glad to be here!
  • Hi and welcome. You must seek out Meg and Artmaker (Susan) they've both overcome thyroid issues and lost weight. I'm sure you'll find lots of wonderful support here.
