Hi Sarah - Slim Fast may not be the best way to go, in the long run. We need to make changes that we can maintain for life, if we want to keep the weight off. Slim Fast doesn't teach you how to eat healthfully for life, ya know? Just my .02, take it for what it's worth. I started on Slim Fast, but now eat a sensible diet that I know I can live with.

What sort of activity do you plan to engage in to help you lose?

It looks like we have similar stats! I too want to lose around 45-50 lbs. I tried Slim Fast years ago. it was good when i was on it but afterwards, forget it. I gained it all back! I'd stick to WW!
