I'm a newbie

I don't know if i'm even doing this right.... but i guess if ya'll can see this, then i am!! i've been journaling now since about june and i always wondered what the heck they were all talking about!!! took me this long to figure it out!
i'm excited about this new forum thingy!!!!! not quite sure what i'm supposed to do here that is different from the journals! can someone please help?!

On the message board, you can search by topic and find what interests you, and jump in and interact with others. It's a lot of fun! Just look around and find something that interests you and read or post away. Welcome to 3FC!

Hello everyone I am also a newbie, though not a newbie to PCOS. I have had it since I was about 13 I am now 37. I suffer with all the most visual accepts of PCOS, being well over weight(100lbs), hirsutism, also noticed the last couple of months my hair on my head is getting a bit thinner and a couple of years ago diagnosed with being IR. After that I was put on Met. but due to acid reflux had massive problems trying to get used to it and thought it wasn't worth the trouble, plus didn't like what the side effects potentionally could be.

A friend referred me to this site, for the weight loss support, but low and behold I find one for PCOS as well. I haven''t found a good site in years. So it was a very welcome suprise. There seems to be so many different thread here I have difficulty navigating my way through, so any help would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to sart asking questions that have been asked 100s of times if I can already find them.

I look forward to "meeting"you all and maybe finding out new things about this problem.

Welcome to both of you! I was new last week, but feel like an old pro now! ha ha ha! And honestly, I've never even looked at a message board, much less tried to navigate through one! Welcome to 3FC! Try to look at the forum as a list of doors maybe that will make it easier for you. For each main topic (door), you can click on it, go inside, and get a list of threads, like cubby holes. You can read,post, back out and go to another. I promise after you poke around a little while you will feel right at home.

For searching, look in the purple bar above and click on 'search' and type in what you are looking for. You can look all over the forum, or just in PCOS. Let me know if there is anything in particular you want, and I can help.
