Hi all! I'm really excited to find this place!
Two weeks ago I started dieting and working out, again, for what seems like the umteenth time. I was always a size 3 (I'm only 5'1") until I had my daughter 6 years ago. Now I'm a 14 and I feel and look just terrible. I have yet to lose the "baby fat".
About a year and a half ago I did the South Beach diet and I lost 25lbs. Unfortunately, I got cocky, thought I could maintain on my own without continuing on the South Beach plan, and I have gained it all back <sigh>.
Two weeks ago I resumed going to Curves and started watching my calorie intake and potion size, as well as drinking more water. I don't think I want to start a special diet plan yet - I want to see if what I'm doing helps at all first.
An internet friend of mine and I are accountability partners and we check in nightly with each other and work to keep each other motivated and on track.
Anyway, I'm pleased to meet you all and join this group!
