Hi, another mum of seven kids here. I'm Kathy, my kids ages range from 10&1/2 to 6mths....6 girls and 1 boy, he's the middle child. We live in Australia.
I've recently started to go to the gym, which I'm loving so much, so I can tone up the poor old tummy muscles and lose the weight that's crept up over the years.

Morning ladies!!

Kathy,

I have 6 boys and 1 girl, she is next to last and is 5yo. She is something!!

I have been under the weather and I am trying to get back to exercising! It's not working well, I have no energy anymore!! But I am trying! If I can get the long overdue housework done that would take about all the energy I have!!!

Karen...veggies over icecream????? How could that be????? I like em both, but have been known to have ice cream for my meal when the mood suits me! That way it's not EXTRA calories!

To the rest...have an awesome, ON PLAN day!! WE can do it!!!!

Later!!!

Hi, ladies!

I'm with Cindirella - ice cream - REAL ice cream - is worth missing a meal! But I love veggies too, lucky me.

Shyheart, have you tried the southbeach version of mashed potatoes made with cauliflower? They're not bad. Maybe you could squeeze some in with dishes like stuffed peppers that include the meat you like. I will try to think of some more for you.

I started doing Fitday today, and it is fun! I love the pie chart.

Default SAHM/Homeschool Mom wanting to lose 25lbs!

Hi,

This sounds like a great group! Mind if I join in? I live in the beautiful state of Tennessee and homeschool our 2 kids. I want to lose 25lbs and I think it is great to have someone to be accountable to. Where can I find this Fitday link that you all are talking about. I need to check that out! Have a great day everyone.

http://www.fitday.com/WebFit/PublicJ...aschenbrodel61

And it being a fast day (Catholic!), I've been so busy I haven't had time to get hungry, but I'm sure it will come on with a vengeance tonight!

I love all the big families!!! And homeschoolers!!

Mumof7!! Welcome! My oldest wants to get to Austrailia so bad!
He went to the World Youth Day in Germany last August and the next one, in 3 years, is in Austrailia! 3 of mine want to go, but it would be soooooo much $$$$$$$ even for one!

He's working now, 19yrs old, at his father's mill and at a restaurant and soon will be starting college for a Culinary Degree, so I doubt if he will be in any position to go, poor guy!
