Hi all,
It's another newbie. I've just found this site and realisticly, I need to lose about 70 pounds. It's much harder for me now that I'm married, because my husband isn't very motivated to lose weight with me. As an overweight person, I know just about everything there is to know about weight loss, except how to stay motivated and be disciplined! I know what I should be eating but not how to maneuver my food choices into our family eating habits, since my husband does the majority of the cooking. I am mainly looking for some continual support and motivation from anyone else that is or has been where I am.
A little background: I exercise sporadically due to a damaged inner ear canal that makes me experience vertigo from time to time. I leave the house at 7am and don't get home until about 6:15pm at which time we eat dinner. I then spend the rest of the evening: cleaning the kitchen, packing lunches, doing laundry or working in the garden. On an up note, my office does have a gym that I can use.
Whatever inspiration I can get would be greatly appreciate.
