Keeping at it!

Keep at it and you will succeed. I started at 186 and am now down to 155 so it has been a struggle and it has been a healthy challenge. I've learned a lot and have a lot more to learn as I lost the next 20 lbs that are proving to be very, very stubborn. I have been stuck on a plateau for about 2 weeks and I am just going to have to ride it out. I know I am eating right at what I should be and I'm exercising every day so between the plateau and holding water I am just going to have to keep holding on until it passes and it will pass! I have popped my exercise time up (just walking) for 30 minutes a day, to 35, more because I needed to do that anyway, and for the next 3 weeks will pop it up 5 more until I am doing the 45 minutes. When I began this diet I said I was only going to do 30 because I walk on a treadmill and it can get boring, but now that I've hit a plateau I figure I will just pop it up to get my body past this. I have tried to maintain just one small exercise program, I also do arm strength training, because I want to be able to have more to do once I quit smoking. Which I am hoping to do when I am about 8 to 7 pounds from goal. It has always been myintention to either join a regular gym then, or add in aerobics also to my walking to help the drop in metholism that happens when you quit smoking. To say nothing about the eating. I will tape my mouth shut if I have to, or as I told my huband will hide in the bedroom so I don't become a toxic witch, or gain any weight back. I am very determined but it is still very hard. So ya'll hang in there with me and I'll hang in there with you!
