Default Baby steps, hello!

Hello, I have been a yo yo dieter, losing and gaining the same 30-40 lbs five times in less than a decade. It's frustrating but I need to make small changes to make this time last. I have a 4 year old boy so I get the mommy weight and I have a degree in theater, so I feel pressure to be a certain way, while also maintaining who I am. I work part time at a coffee shop and am tempted by pastries, lol. I'm currently 190 lbs and hoping to just get to 160 and be able to maintain there. I'm focusing on baby steps now like walking three times a week and eating more protein and vegetables in place of the excess sugar and go from there. I am a single mom and enjoying my new life, hard as it can be. Anyway, I hope to use this site to stick with it. Thanks for saying hi.

Hi! I'm new too. I've dealt with yo-yo dieting for years and years. It's a REALLY hard cycle to break. Hoping being on this forum helps.
