I am a 50 yr female and I need to lose about 100 lbs. I am going to do my starting point weigh in tomorrow morning. I have some issues with my back and with my thyroid but I can't blame all my weight gain on that. I need to be as active as I possibly can. I love to cook and nothing I cook is healthy! I am not really computer savvy, but I am learning. I am looking for accountability and friends. I plan on following the simple diet. Thanks all!
Welcome to the group!
You have the perfect mindset - You have to lose the weight for yourself and even though you have to deal with obstacles, losing weight is sill possible. Plus, you can still love cooking - you just get an opportunity to experiment with new healthier dishes.
I too am dealing with back issues which makes exercise a bit harder and I am older to which makes my weight loss much slower this time around. I am not giving up.
Good luck to you!!!
Welcome to the forum! I've been learning about accountability since I've been here. Being honest with yourself is a huge step forward, it seems, and I've been keeping a notebook, and online, diary of my food intake.
What's the simple diet? I haven't heard of it before, what does it entail?
