Smile Just Getting Started

Hello! I'm so happy to be here! I've often come to this forum for inspiration, so I finally decided to join. I've tried to lose weight many times before, and have had trouble keeping it off. A few years ago I lost 20lbs, I was off to a good start. But got I comfortable and overindulgent and in a few years time gained 60 pounds. That's totally unacceptable for me. So I've had enough. I began my weight-loss journey Monday of this week (8/3/15) at over 280lbs and in a size 20W(i carry in my thighs and bottom, not so much my waist) with my first goal being 200(-80) and my final goal of 150(-130). I'm up to the challenge! I'm motivated! And i refuse to buy bigger clothes, so it's only down from here!

Welcome!!! I am happy to hear your story!!!

I know what you're feeling!!! I too was in a snug (afraid I was was going to have too buy a size 22 ) 20w. I refused. So in May I started a diet!!! I am now loose in my 18's and snug (too snug I don't want to really go there, but I can put them on and button and zip) 16's.

My goal is to be fabulous by 44 (next years Birthday)!!!
