Welcome and good luck! These forums can be a bit slow from time to time until you find your place, but if you ever a have a question or need support I find people are quick to respond.
The easiest way to start is to identify a few problem things and make small changes first... Like if you drink lots of sugary drinks, switch to water, tea and lemon water or things like that
Aim to go for a walk three times a week, or cut out snacks after 6:00. You decide, and then start building from there!
I'd also poke around the forums and just read up on some of the other plans to find something that works for you. Its okay if you start a plan, don't like it then change it for yourself. I'm a calorie counter myself and I use an app to track. But some people go low-carb, or intuitive eating. Its fun discovering things about yourself and your food, don't let it be daunting!
