Hi, I'm Claire. Pre-pregnancy I was 115lbs, at the end of my pregnancy I was 170lbs. My son is 1 year and 1 month old, and I'm currently at 164lbs! I've tried dieting, calorie counting, exercising, and I attempted juicing (I couldn't do it). I do not know what to do and I am so unhappy with myself. I have the birth control implant in my arm (Nexplanon in the U.S.), and I've even scheduled to have it removed to see if that will help.
Anyway, hello, I'm so glad I've found this forum and I'm happy to be here
Hi, I'm no longer nursing (I was until about 3 months ago) and I've tried what my mother calls the "diet". It's where you eat literally nothing but salads... but I couldn't really stay on it after a week.
Yes, there are all kinds of clinics in various cities. Check around in your area and ask about the "plan" and their cost. It definitely varies from clinic to clinic. You might research on the internet to see if people in your area have been satisfied before signing or paying anything.
Good luck in your hunt to find the right place for you! Keep us posted.
Hi all, just wanted to update everyone on my progress so far. I've been taking phentermine daily since April 3rd and drinking tons of water, along with moderate exercise. I also had my Nexplanon removed a month ago. I'm down to 149lbs as of today! I'm so happy I could cry.

Hi MissClaire...I was at my doctor's office today and when I saw my doctor he was noticeably thinner. He told me about Phentermine and that he had lost 55#. It peaked my interest. I forgot to ask him about any symptoms...do you get a rapid heart beat? Can you sleep etc? What has been your experience?
Welcome, Few things we have or had in common, I'm on Nexplanon also and I'm also taking phentermine, I take it for 6 months and then I stop for 6 months and then I start again for 6 more months and I've been doing that off and on since Sept. 2014. The reason why I take it for 6 months and then I stop it for 6 months is because my doctor doesnt want me to get addicted to it and its been working so far, 6 months off and on hasnt caused any problems.
Hi, sorry... for some reason I still didn't subscribe to my own thread! (lol). My last check in I was at 145lbs. I do get a rapid heartbeat, and lately I've been getting itchy (a less-common side effect). My workday doesn't end until 12am so if I take the phentermine when I wake (8am or 9am) I have no issue falling asleep; napping is a different story though. I also had my Nexplanon taken out shortly after I started my therapy with phentermine. I can say that I am noticing a tolerance being built, as my appetite is not as suppressed, but my doctor said I can take a half a tablet around noon or so if needed.
