Hi Everyone!
I wanted to say a quick hello. This is my first time posting on any forum.
I need to lose weight but have been having such a hard time since I turned 50 - a year ago. I would love to get down to about 155. I am 5'9" tall and weigh 194 lbs.
I cant afford weight watchers so I am trying to count the points myself. If I calculated everything correctly, I think I can have 30 points a day.

I hope I can learn from this group, and make some friends along the way. because I have become very unhappy with myself lately.

Welcome! Excited to have you here. I'm hopeful that through this journey you will find something that works for you and that you regain your confidence and self-love back. When we are unhappy with our weight, that sadness bleeds into other areas of our lives. Trust me, when I was very obese, I was not happy with anything. I was a shell of a person due to the lack of love I had for myself. When I decided to make a change and invest in my fitness journey, that was when things changed and I started to feel something I hadn't felt in years, pride. I was proud of myself. You will get there!
