My name is louise, im 42 lbs overweight and always have been!
I want to and need to change so when i found this website i was so happy...somewhere to vent when i have a bad diet day and somewhere to do my happy dance when i get to my goal!

Welcome to the board--there's lots of people here that are trying to shed off a few pounds. I have been successful--at losing 25 pounds through just eating less and exercising--and have only got about 6 pounds to go. I am in my correct BMI right now--and my doctor is super happy with me. I don't restrict my eating to certain foods--I just eat less. A piece of cake today is a sliver of cake. Portion size is the answer for me. I exercise (Jazzercise) 3 to 4 times a week to get my body in shape and just love the feeling of a good total sweaty one hour body workout.
