Newbie from Wisconsin :)
Hello all! I am a recently married 35 year old,...who unfortunately likes food as much as my wonderful new hubby. Since we've been together, I've gained around 50 lbs. Now, summer is quickly approaching, and I am saddened by the fact that I feel less than awesome with the newly added pounds. I have read some of the forums on here for the last year or so, and today,...I have resolved to change the things that need changing so I can love myself even more than I already do,...and hopefully, encourage my hubby to eat healthier and exercise with me! My goals here are to meet others along the journey for support, be support to those that need it, and to possibly find some great alternatives to the unhealthy lifestyle I have become accustomed to. Too much fast food, too much pizza, too much of everything. I hate vegetables,...so hopefully some ideas will come my way to incorporate them more into my diet without knowing they are there lol :D I look forward to making new friends, and knowing that I am not alone in this journey :carrot:

This is a great place for support and ideas! Good luck on your your endeavors. Veggies can be challenging sometimes, but there's tons of great recipes out there. Have you tried roasting any vegetables? It's easy to do and gives them a whole new flavour.
