I have lofty weight loss dreams. They haven't become "goals" yet as I have performed very little action to justify that term. I'll admit it- I'm afraid of failure. I googled "afraid to lose weight" and found 3fatchicks. I looked around a bit & now I'm dipping my toe in the weight loss pool.
Maybe the beck diet solution book would be useful for you as you head into this journey.
Its a psychological approach. I haven't read the book but i know about CBT and we can all learn useful things by understanding more about that approach to problems.
There's a forum on this site about it. Check out my weightloss diary below for other tips and ideas and strategy. I'm suggesting you do everything i do but there are things in it that should help anyone. Its certainly working well for me.
