Default New in Town

Hello,

I've struggled with my weight for more than half my life, and am finally realizing that my "go it alone" strategy doesn't work. While I've had some weight loss successes — namely, losing over 65lbs about two years ago — I found that it comes back as soon as I lose focus.

A few months ago, I moved to my dream city, but now at over 300 lbs, I have no energy to explore my amazing new city. The weight is also prohibiting me from traveling, which is what I love to do more than anything.

My goal is to get fit enough to go traveling and exploring again. I also hope to meet some cool people here along the way.

Welcome from another newbie! I have been here about 2 weeks or so, and I love it! Such a wealth of information from all these members! I am 242lb starting weight (110kg) and I have been faced with many of your issues, namely travel, etc. But we can do it! Make small changes and stick to them, and dont forget to post, the good and bad things! Also, dont be afraid to fail, as there are many ways to try to lose weight, you just have to find out what works for you. Goodluck, we are all here for you, and cant wait to learn more about you on your journey!
