Angry Cross my fingers -- I need this to work!

Every one of my friends is SKINNY AS HECK and they just don't understand! Most people just get a freshmen 15, I got a freshmen 40. I've been struggling since college to lose weight, and I get NO support b/c everyone tells me to "just" watch what I eat or "just" exercise....MAN O MAN I ALREADY DO THAT!!!! And since they don't understand, they just keep telling me "oh you can have a little of this" or "just try a bit of that".... but a little ice cream and a bit of cake add up!

UGH. Sorry. I'm frustrated right now.

Anyway, I just read that forums like this really help people lose weight b/c it gives them a sense of accountability, so I'm ready to give it a try! Hoping I can find some good support & encourage other people along the way!

Hi and welcome. Im new here too. I have been following WW flex. Its pretty much the only thing I have had sucess on and never felt like I was on a diet. So this has to work? What plan are you following?

I've been using myfitnesspal and using their calorie counter. I dont think I can afford WW... but I've heard its great!

I'm on MyFitnessPal and I love it. I'm down 10 pounds, and it's been a very helpful guide. Good luck!

I know a few people who have had success with mfp. I also cannot afford to go to meetings so Im on my own. I have implemented a reward system for my successful weeks....I get 10.00 for nongain weeks. Ive been saving up & will get myself something from a stella and dot party next weekend. Instead of paying ww to weigh me in, I pay myself to stay on track!

Know how you feel! My body chemistry is completely different than my friends. You'll find what works. I am using IP but I know I will have to make changes to my food intake to keep it off. And we are worth it!!
