Welcome, Ribellebella! 3 Fat Chicks is a great place for advice (sometimes conflicting -- but that just means you get to make your own choice!) and encouragement and support.

Thank you so much!

Now, I don't know if this is the appropriate thread to ask this.. But what are some good excerises I can do to lose thigh fat and love handles? I have a horrible time trying to fit in my jeans. And I've gone through at least 5 within the past 2 months because of my thunder thighs. I need all the help I can get!

You'll get better help down in the exercise section, but one thing they will tell you is that you can't really spot tone particular areas you don't like. Most of us do best with a blend of cardio and a variety of strength-training so everything gets toned up. You might try yoga as well. That helped me get focused on what my body could do as opposed to how it looked -- a much healthier brain-space. For slimming down, the best results come from diet changes.

That said. You might want to look into planks, kicks, squats, lunges, and the like. You'll find You Tube videos that incorporate those exercises and they don't need any equipment so you can start now.

Hi Kimmy! The best way to reduce love handles and thunder thighs is to lose weight. As GardenerJoy mentioned, you can't spot reduce through exercise, but you can reduce all over through diet, and that will include the spots you are most unhappy with! Good luck!
