Default Hey Everyone - I'm Gina

I'm that person who always starts a new diet on Sunday and half way through the week I'm drinking a glass of wine and enjoying buttered popcorn or pretzels with ranch dip. I don't know why this is but all of the advice I've gathered tells me I need a buddy to help inspire me. So....

Is there anyone out there who is looking for someone to help motivate them, support them, and listen to them when they are struggling? Someone who, like me, really wants to achieve their goals?

I'm a 45 year old wife and Mom. I work full time and have about 15 lbs to lose - once and for all! If you have similar goals and background and are interested in buddying up with me - let me know.

Current Attempt (Slow Carb Diet, started July 19, 2013) <> Previous Attempt (Calorie-Counting, 2009)

= 10 lbs lost; = 5 lbs lost:
MINI GOALS:
1. 196 lbs = "Overweight" BMI of 29.8 MET GOAL!!
2. 178 lbs = Lowest Weight in 13 years, BMI of 27.1 MET GOAL!!
3. 164 lbs = "Normal Weight" BMI of 24.9
4. 145 lbs = Goal Weight BMI of 22.0
MAINTENANCE GOAL:
Stay between 145 lbs and 155 lbs

I lost over 50 pounds I did this by using hCG. Once I got into my late 30's I started to really put the pounds on no matter what I did so by the time I reached my 40's I was starting to think this is it I will never lose weight again. Then I read about hCG and made it my mission to find out were I could get it. I started out in a clinic in town and lost 30 pounds in about 9 weeks. You have to do 3 weeks of cleansing (lost about 7 pounds doing that) then you do 6 weeks of hCG with a very restricted diet then you you do 2 weeks of clean eating (no sugar no carbs). I have gone back up a bit then lost it again but I have never gained it all back and each time I do a round of hCG my weight set point is lower and lower. Now I want to lose about 25 pounds. I just started another round of hCG. Today is Halloween and my husband and I agreed we would not give out any candy because this is were we start to gain leading up all the way through the holidays. So I see this as breaking the cycle.
I have also done the diet during the week and splurge on the weekends, and that gets me into trouble also. Eating out is the worst I can eat the same thing at home that I cooked and controlled and maybe gain a pound apposed to going out and gaining 3 to 5 pounds.
I'm have struggled my whole adult life with weight lose any body image just like many others. I would have to say that I know I have finely got a good handle on it and an excellent tool to help keep it under control.

Hi Brenda, I'm afraid HCG is not supported on this site because it's considered dangerous. Here's an announcement about it: We do not support HCG injections and plans.
