Unhappy looking for support

Hello....happy hump day! I am looking for support...I'm mid forties and feel very alone in my weight loss journey. I'm starting today and decided to try 3FC to help me stay focused on my goal. I need to lose about 80#...have done it before through exercise but find that when I feel bad about my life (which isn't bad at all) I turn to food. I guess I am hiding from pain and hurt by keeping people away through being fat! I hope this forum helps me and I can help others. Looking forward to it! Best of luck to everyone!

I hope you feel better and jump right on board! You can definitely do this!
Back in August 2013, I convinced myself to give my plan a shot until October 31, 2013. I told myself then that, when that date came, I would be grateful I had committed myself to losing weight. Sure enough, when October 31, 2013 came, I was deeply grateful and pleased with my progress. It's been 19 months and over 115 lbs lost, and I remain deeply grateful every day. There are no words to explain how worth it the hard work is.
Reached onederland 31.12.2013!
Became 'overweight' (BMI of 29.7) on July 29, 2014!

Welcome - I'm in my mid 30's and need to lose about 50-60 pounds. I turn to food when I am b-o-r-e-d.

Current Attempt (Slow Carb Diet, started July 19, 2013) <> Previous Attempt (Calorie-Counting, 2009)

= 10 lbs lost; = 5 lbs lost:
1. 196 lbs = "Overweight" BMI of 29.8 MET GOAL!!
2. 178 lbs = Lowest Weight in 13 years, BMI of 27.1 MET GOAL!!
3. 164 lbs = "Normal Weight" BMI of 24.9
4. 145 lbs = Goal Weight BMI of 22.0
Stay between 145 lbs and 155 lbs
