Default Time for a change!!!

Good morning!! I have stalked this website on and off for years..never joined til today!!! I have battled with my weight for years and now (with turning 50 in a couple months) I am getting really serious!!!!

My biggest problems are I like my beer and lack of exercise!!!!! Any ideas/helpful hints would be greatly appreciated!!!

First off, MrsN13!

Welcome to the club-- I'll be 50 soon too (Feb). This is a journey but one you can travel on with many folks who know what you are going thru. I don't drink, so I have no tips about stopping any cravings with that but lack of exercise- well, just take a walk to start. That's what I've done, and it's so helpful to just get out of the house and BREATH the fresh air. I am only at about 30 min walks now, but they will increase. I see you are in MI (I'm in NW Illinois) so once Fall comes to the midwest, it will be so much easier to get out on those daily walks!

Welcome! My tip is to come here often, particularly when you feel like slipping off plan. Lots of great people here to pull you back from the brink!

Also, jump right in on any post that seems interesting to you, don't hold back. We all get so much out of hearing each other's perspectives!
